SugarFactory#NFT will store digitals assets on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) decentralized network.

IPFS Support

IPFS is a protocol and a peer-to-peer network for storing and sharing data on a distributed file system. Which means that your media will be stored in a decentralized and unstoppable system with a unique identifier.

To use IPFS, we have created a storage account at nft.storage. The Interplanetary File System is one of the best decentralized storage and bandwidth for NFT providers.

First we install the SugarFactory#NFT API Key to be able to connect to IPFS system. We can store on IPFS all type of media: images, videos, docs, audios. Once we’ve upload creators artworks in our library, we can can push assets to IPFS.

Infura

Infura is a hosted Ethereum node cluster that let your users connect with Ethereum network even when they are not using any browser wallet like MetaMask.

To interact with your SugarFactory#NFT Smart Contract users will always need to use MetaMask, but Infura lets us show our contract information to non MetaMask users.
